Patricia & Michael - Eng Session

It seems like ages since my last post. What a crazy couple of months. Without a doubt this has been my busiest season ever. More on that and what it means for the future in another post. But first I really wanted to show off Patricia and Michaels engagement session. I have so much doing these photo shoots I absolutely love them. Patricia, Michael and I just walked around The CNE and had a blast taking photos and chatting about life. They are a great down to earth couple and i can't wait for their wedding.

Alice & Mike - engagement session

Ok - I am posting another Fall '08 engagement session. May by the summer I will have all my old sessions on line. Alice & Mike are great friends of Angela & George (2 posts down) in fact they booked my services together at the same meeting. Alice had a constant 'happy' face during the session. Her smile was infectious and just thinking back to our session I am beginning to get a silly grin :)

Something very different for me....

I spent a weekend in Montréal a while ago with my wife celebrating her birthday and one of the highlights of the trip was visiting the private art gallery's in Old Montreal. Walking through the beautiful gallery's I had an epiphany about art and my photography. I know I want to add a new dimension to my work and will be experimenting with different ways to express emotion in my images. I have an idea where this is going to take me - but I am not quite sure exactly - looking forward to the creative journey though.

I do a lot of Engagement sessions at Sunnyside Park along the Lakeshore. In my defense i just find that everytime I go I see a different angle or way of shooting so I never get bored. Of course it helps when i get a wonderful couple like Mateo amd Melissa...

Ryan & Leslie - the destination wedding in Cuba

Ryan and Leslie's wedding was quite simply a blast! We spent a week together in a beautiful resort off the coast of Cuba. This was exactly how I liked to work - I was made to feel like one of the friends but with the fancy camera! I have made 2 slideshows, the first highlights everything but the wedding day itself, so... just hanging around, the club nights, the trip to Havana, and a 'engagement' session finish the slide show. I came back form this trip totally refreshed and ready for the next season! And last but not least - a few pictures of me!

Hi! Here is a warm weather engagement session i did earlier in the summer just so we can all keep warm thoughts!

Jacqueline and Nate are getting married this June and I can't wait. With each posting i try to keep the number of images down as much as possible but i always like too many! Life is rough i guess. :)

I just finished this engagement session from a few days ago and wanted to share. Aarati and Omar have such great style and presece in front of the camera. It was a supper fun session that seemed to go by quick and yet i still managed to take 800 images or so. I know that is crazy..:)

So the summer has started with a bang! Lots of weddings and more engagements sessions to post. Its Friday night and i have a big wedding tomorrow so i am going to keep it short...

I had a beautiful day to photograph this gorgeous couple! Chris brought a Maserati...Christina brought her beautiful smile...! Clients are often concerned about finding the perfect place for photo's, but what is most important is finding a place with - great light and where the couple can just 'be themselves'.

Eileen and Mark, are high school sweet hearts and the romantic in me thinks that is awesome! It is hard to express what an incredible feeling being a witness to so many happy couples lives is. Once the wedding season hits into full gear i seem to have a bit of perma smile - the joy is very infectious! Thank you Eileen and Mark !
